K & S is pleased to announce the launch of twooutofthree21.com! This site was created for Walter Mims, a current client of ours (birminghamapa.com), as a showcase for his patented game. "2 out of 3" is a variation of blackjack that adds the option of a three card side bet, similar to three card poker.

Intended as way to offer a working demo to potential clients in the casino and gaming industry, the site features a demo of the game written as a Java applet, developed by Michael Barnes. If you're a fan of blackjack the game is worth checking out. We anticipate improving the demo in the future and suspect you'll start seeing 2 out of 3 in your favorite casino or online gambling website soon!

We're pleased to announce the launch of our latest (and likely final) APA website. Treasurecoastapa.com was set up for new league operators Dave & Ros LaBonte. The LaBonte's were one of the first APA leagues on board with K & S back in late 2006. Back then they owned a franchise in Massachusetts. They recently sold that franchise and relocated to Florida. Eager to make a good impression with the members of his new franchise Dave asked if we would set him up a website to replace the generic apaleagues website used by the former League Operator. We were more than happy to!

We registered the domain name for Dave and Ros and set up the site in about an hour, including email, our data feed application and some graphics work. Treasurecoastapa.com also has some newly developed features we're in the process of releasing to all our other APA/CPA clients. Personal Member Galleries, Member Blogs, Member Friends List and the ability to select specific photo galleries for display on the home page are just a few of those new features. If you're an APA member (or League Operator) using K & S for your website look for your update in the near future!

KwikFireInc.com Launches

K & S was approached by Kelly Fisher of the WPBA and asked to help her design a website to showcase KwikFire Cues. It seems she'd been through at least 3 other web designers and was becoming increasingly frustrated trying to get her site up and running. The schedule of a professional pool player can be hectic. Kelly and her fellow WPBA member Val Finnie are travel a lot to different tournaments and pool related events. K & S worked to their schedule and made time to work with Kelly and Val when it was convenient for them.

Val, who designed the KwikFire Cue series, had some ideas for the site and she and Kelly stopped in Baltimore one day on the way to an event further north. In a few hours we hammered out the concept and took some pictures to lay the foundation for the site. Kelly and Val went on to their tournament and we went to work! In a short time we had a refined template for them, had professional grade pictures of the cues ready for the website and were ready fill in the blanks.

Often times the base template of the site is the biggest obstacle when developing. Without that starting point it becomes hard to visualize where things are going and how they will look. Once we filled what we had we could feel the excitement on Kelly and Val's part! It was excitement that after several false starts the website was finally going to get launched! Over the period of a few days we had many of the missing pieces to complete the KwikFire Cues portion of the website. We wrote the back end to hand off processing to PayPal - so transactions are secure. A real plus to them since the cost of a full e-store can be daunting.

Fran created the video on the site's home page and has another one he'll be posting soon. We'll be adding pages, including the KwikFire By Fury Cues very soon, so look for those additions. If you'd like to check it out please visit http://kwikfireinc.com.

K & S co-founder Fran Kuhn was recently married and wanted a site to showcase his many wedding and honeymoon photos. Upon returning from his honeymoon with his Bride Renee, Fran created franandrenee.com. The site was an instant hit with friends and family and soon we were asked is we could reproduce the site, uniquely styled of course, for another newleywed couple. The request came from a friend of the Bride and Groom who wanted to surprise the couple with the site as a wedding gift. K & S was happy to help out. The result was ryanandbianca.com.

And thus was born our pre-built wedding sites.

If you're a newlywed couple, or an engaged couple planning your big day, or maybe a friend of the couple looking for that perfect gift give us a call and we'll be happy to show you how inexpensive and quickly we can create a beautiful site to showcase the big day!

The sites are designed with a fully integrated content management system that allows you to update and create as many pages as you like, as well as our custom written 'Auto-Gallery' application that will upload entire directories of photos for you almost effortlessly. Uploaded images are optimized for display on the web and organized in a database driven, attractive gallery. Descriptions can be added to the photos and photos moved from one gallery to another at will. It truly is a wonderful way to showcase that special day.
